This is getting ridiculous.
The right-wingers are proving themselves to be nothing more than rude racist rabble-rousers. Why do these protesters think they can stroll into any town hall meeting and unleash a tirade of insults? These right-wing nuts keep referring to the Constitution, free speech, et al… but what they fail to realize is that they are criticizing the exact thing they are shouting about. The politicians they elected to pass health care reform have crafted a health care bill — in essence, the politicians have done EXACTLY what the people elected them to do.
Instead of yelling and carrying on like spoiled children, these right-wing Republicans should be thanking the politicians. Why is it that certain Americans see only what they want to see? We will not be able to correct the eight years of Republican damage if the people keep interrupting the political process.
I hope the Democrats wise-up and put an end to these town hall meetings when they start to tackle other Republican screw-ups like immigration reform, global warming, and the economy. That is, if these right-wingers ever shut up long enough to let the Democrats move on to other issues.
