You can HELP by educating, informing, and instructing the citizenry about the TRUTH. The administration is TRYING to reverse 8 pathetic years of Republican rule. This will take time. The right-wingers had 8 long yrs at the head of the table; certainly the Democrats are entitled to more than 8 short months before these so called “citizen patriots” incite mob rule and invoke their “right” to complain, yell, scream, and carryon with such wanton contempt for the legislative process that if good ‘ol Thomas Jefferson were here today he’d surely leave disgusted tomorrow.
This is still America and we have no choice, unfortunately, but to tolerate the foolishness of the less informed and their attention-grabbing antics played out daily on the world’s stage — as embarrassing as that may be for our global image. Nevertheless, this does not mean that we shouldn’t try to help the FOX News brainwashed-crowd overcome their ignorance and uncouthness. Let us work together to cure them of their limited worldview by explaining, albeit slowly, very slowly, THE TRUTH: That the administration ISN’T taking sides. That the administration IS reaching out to the right-wingers with open arms and open minds in the true spirit of bi-partisanship. That it is the REPUBLICANS who are turning their backs on the American people. That it is the REPUBLICANS who are thwarting real change by filling town halls across America with actors and right-wing operatives paid to provoke, disrupt, and generally put a damper on things.
It is up to you, you, you, and YOU to help turn the political tide, to help persuade the less intelligent among us to accept the challenge of change. Change for the betterment of America and all of her people. Change not for the sake of change but for change’s sake. Change for tomorrow starts today.
